We are proud to have opened the doors of our Agriturismo and Educational Farm, Il Giardino di Manipura to the Linea Verde Life crew of Rai 1, and in particular to Monica Caradonna, journalist and presenter of the program, with whom we spent an enchanting morning. The presence of the "Mamma Rai" cameras for a report on Il Giardino di Manipura on Rai 1's Linea Verde Life gave us the opportunity to make our short and sustainable supply chain known, step by step.
An immersive morning to discover our supply chain, to reveal all the steps, from the cultivation and harvesting of the fronds of our eucalyptus, to the extraction of its precious essential oil, up to the valorisation of every part of the plant with the use of processing waste.
With Linea Verde Life in our organic eucalyptus plantations: the Journey of Wellbeing Together with Linea Verde Life, we went into the field to closely observe our organic eucalyptus plantations, together with many other medicinal plants that we have passionately cultivated for decades in Tuscany, between the sea and Lake Massaciuccoli.
A walk among the enveloping scents of our crops, based on short-chain organic farming and the circular economy, where everything is used. We touched nature firsthand, entering the beating heart of our supply chain, in our Oligea laboratories, to discover where the magic of distillation and the extraction methods of our pure, natural and Made in Italy essential oils come to life.
An olfactory journey, between Florentine stills and vases, waiting for our eucalyptus to give us its most precious essence, the essential oil. Shortly afterwards an enveloping and balsamic scent spread through the air, capturing our senses and transporting us to a world of serenity and vitality.
A "Balsamic Bath" to learn about the properties and the thousand uses in daily life of the "King of breath", the eucalyptus. Monica Caradonna, travel companion in this extraordinary experience, was carried away by the discovery of the multiple benefits that a single medicinal plant can provide. But the wonder of eucalyptus doesn't end here!
Botanical Print - When Nature colors fabrics With Monica we went to place the leaves of the over 10 varieties of eucalyptus that we grow, among which Cinerea, Parvifolia, Populus stand out directly on the fabrics; once the fabric was rolled up we proceeded with cooking it and then Magic Magic you have no idea of ​​the amazed eyes of Monica and the whole crew when they could see the indelible imprint left by the leaves on the fabrics.
The joy in seeing how what would have been manufacturing waste, thanks to the love and passion that distinguishes handmade things, is transformed into an authentic work of art is immense. The value of a canvas finished with a botanical print is immense, both for the technique used and for its uniqueness, but above all for the environmental impact it contains.
The Garden of Manipura on Linea Verde Life on Rai 1 It is an incredible opportunity for us to be able to share the beauty of our supply chain and the passion that drives us every day, on Rai 1's Linea Verde Life. We are grateful to have been able to welcome the cameras of "Mamma Rai" once again, in fact it is not the first time they have come to visit us. In 2021, the episode of Linea Verde Estate dedicated to Versilia was broadcast on RAI1.
